Description: ABRAM-VILLAGE, PEI – Sept. 26, 2012 – All francophone and bilingual entrepreneurs and co-operators from PEI are cordially invited to a free breakfast being held in their honor Monday, Oct. 15, from 8-9 a.m. at the Centre Expo-Festival in Abram-Village.
Organizers will take advantage of the occasion to officially launch Small Business Week and Co-op Week, which will take place simultaneously Oct. 14-21.
Special guest speaker will be Gerald Arsenault, business development officer with Innovations PEI. Although he works specifically in food product development, his presentation will provide a general overview of his department’s numerous technical and financial support programs for small businesses.
PARTNERS
The four organizations that have partnered to present this information breakfast will also say a few words:
· The Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI will launch Small Business Week and will speak about its Entrepreneurs’ Luncheon that will be held later in the week;
· The Conseil de développement coopératif de l’Î.-P.-É. (the francophone co-op council) will launch Co-op Week and present a list of planned activities;
· CBDC Central PEI will provide a brief overview of its financial support services for entrepreneurs;
· The Rural Action Centre in Wellington will give an overview of its entrepreneurial development and support services.
